**Starting pay: $20.00 per hour.

Seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Clerk to provide direct administrative support to management. This position will assist with daily administrative tasks, recordkeeping, travel coordination, security administration, phone support, and special projects while helping maintain organization and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
This position will initially be part-time, with the opportunity to transition to a full-time role as training is completed and responsibilities increase.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, computer proficient, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Due to the nature of the position, the successful candidate may be exposed to sensitive company, personnel, financial, operational, and project-related information and must exercise discretion and professionalism at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Support
Perform data entry and maintain electronic and paper records.
File, scan, organize, and maintain company documents.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
Assist with travel arrangements and travel documentation.
Update and maintain training records and tracking spreadsheets.
Prepare reports, forms, and administrative documents as assigned.
Maintain accurate records and ensure information is updated in a timely manner.
Assist with special projects and administrative assignments as needed.
Previous administrative, clerical, customer service, or office support experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and general office software.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and responsibilities as the position grows.
Maritime or shipyard experience is a plus but not required.
