About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project completion. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients.
Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents.
Monitor project progress and ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met.
Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
Identify and resolve project challenges proactively.
Ensure successful project closeout and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
Tenant improvements (TI).
Retail, restaurant, office, healthcare, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar software platforms.
