Job Summary:
The IT Manager position will help lead and direct the company’s information technology operations, ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support service. This position will work closely with others in the organization’s IT leadership group in designing, implementing, and supporting scalable systems that will grow with the company.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Leads development and implementation processes for the organization’s IT operations.
- Directs, oversees, and assists with the selection, design, implementation, specifications, mapping, and installation of company software applications.
- Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in emergencies or data loss.
- Establishes efficiency standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
- Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics based on business needs.
- Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
- Oversees, guides and coaches a growing helpdesk team.
- Collaborates with users, vendors, engineering, and management to understand and assess system needs and requirements to be supported by information systems and technology.
- Knowledge and understanding of current industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Proficient in Office 365, Exchange Online and Azure AD administration.

- Experience with VMware ESXI environments. Other hypervisor experience is a plus.
- Experience working with cloud and hybrid environments.
- SQL Server management experience preferred.
- Experience with reviewing requirements, selecting, and implementing software solutions.
- Experience with managing VOIP systems.
- Proficient with SharePoint Online.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, or related field required; master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years IT managerial experience.
- Substantial experience in IT with demonstrated successful experience managing major, complex applications development projects.
- Ability to travel out of state.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds at times.
