Balboa Yacht Club is seeking a reliable, hardworking Dish Machine Operator to join our culinary team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of our kitchen operation while supporting our chefs and service staff in delivering an exceptional member experience.
**What You'll Do**
* Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
* Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
* Maintain a clean and organized dish room and kitchen work areas
* Empty trash and recycling as needed
* Assist with kitchen cleaning and closing duties
* Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
* Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
**What We're Looking For**
* Reliable and punctual
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
* Team-oriented mindset
* Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is helpful but not required
