About the Role
Formula Wellness is a fast-growing, multi-site health and wellness company seeking a VP of Information Technology to own the full technology agenda — from enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity to M&A integration and a company-wide Data Lake initiative. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll set the strategy and personally drive execution, including rolling up your sleeves when it matters most.
What You'll Own
IT Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the enterprise IT roadmap aligned to Formula Wellness's growth and acquisition strategy
- Partner with the executive team to sequence technology investments that scale with the business
- Establish and enforce governance, security, and data management standards across all locations
M&A Integration
- Lead end-to-end technology integration for acquired companies — assessing, migrating, and stabilizing inherited systems into the Formula Wellness operating model
- Migrate acquired business systems onto Formula Wellness platforms; manage the full transition lifecycle with minimal disruption to operations
- Manage third-party integration partners to ensure quality and on-time delivery
Data Lake & Data Infrastructure
- Drive the company-wide migration of data from all Formula Wellness clinic sites and HQ into a centralized Data Lake
- Architect and oversee onboarding of acquired company data into the Data Lake as part of each integration
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and clinical leadership to ensure data accessibility, integrity, and governance
Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
- Oversee enterprise infrastructure — Windows/Mac endpoints, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Google Workspace, and cloud platforms
- Lead email, O365/Google tenant, SharePoint, and file share migrations using tools such as BitTitan and AvePoint
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols aligned with SOC 2, NIST CSF, or equivalent frameworks
- Oversee MSP relationships and serve as the escalation point for executive and critical-path incidents
Operational Excellence
- Manage IT budget, licensing, vendor contracts, and asset lifecycle
- Provide any tier of end-user support when needed (Tier 1–3)
- Develop training programs that drive adoption of integrated systems and technology standards
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership, including hands-on infrastructure, integration, and enterprise systems experience
- Demonstrated experience leading IT integration for fully acquired companies, including stabilizing inherited systems
- Hands-on proficiency with Windows OS/Server, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, Defender, Intune, Entra ID, Apple/MDM, and Google Workspace
- Experience with Data Lake architecture and enterprise data migrations
- Strong background managing MSPs and third-party vendors
- Knowledge of SOC 2, NIST CSF, or similar security frameworks
- Multi-site healthcare or wellness industry experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
