Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the organization's recruitment and onboarding functions.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve hiring, onboarding, and orientation processes.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Create, review, and maintain job descriptions to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational standards.
- Manage job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and selection activities.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with talent pipelines, educational institutions, community organizations, and recruitment partners.
- Coordinate interviews, reference checks, and pre-employment processes.
- Conduct workforce planning discussions with leadership to support organizational growth and staffing needs.
- Manage relationships with staffing agencies and external recruitment vendors.
- Support temporary staffing coordination and operational workforce needs across departments.
- Oversee employee onboarding, status changes, transitions, and offboarding activities.
- Collaborate with HR leadership on employee engagement, retention, and workforce development initiatives.
- Assist in developing and maintaining internal communications and employee resources.
- Design and oversee internship and early-career talent programs.
- Supervise and mentor HR team members while supporting broader departmental initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in recruitment, onboarding, talent acquisition, or human resources.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and candidate sourcing techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within a nonprofit, social services, healthcare, or mission-driven organization.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Experience using HRIS and payroll platforms.
- Proficiency with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and similar talent acquisition platforms.
- Exposure to employee engagement, retention, or broader HR initiatives.

Work Environment & Benefits
This is a hybrid position requiring a combination of on-site and remote work. Team members collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple departments and may travel locally to support recruitment events, community partnerships, and organizational operations.
Compensation for this position ranges from $73,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
