Job Summary of Financial Analyst
Our client, located in the Camden, New Jersey area, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions within their growing organization. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with a clear path to permanent employment.
This individual will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while delivering accurate and timely insights to support business decision-making. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments is highly preferred.
Responsibilities of Financial Analyst
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions
- Analyze revenue, expense, and operational performance trends
- Support month-end close activities and reporting requirements
- Develop dashboards and reports to improve financial visibility
- Partner with accounting and operations teams to ensure data accuracy
- Identify and communicate key financial insights to leadership
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
- Support process improvement initiatives within finance and accounting functions
Skills of Financial Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Manufacturing or distribution industry experience preferred
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
