About the Role:
As a Golf Pro Shop Manager, where you will lead a dynamic team in delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the golfing experience. This exciting role offers the opportunity to combine your passion for golf with your leadership skills in a vibrant community setting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the pro shop, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and merchandising golf equipment and apparel.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to boost sales and enhance customer engagement.
- Train and supervise staff, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused team culture.
- Assist customers with product selection, providing expert advice on equipment and services.
- Maintain compliance with club policies and industry regulations, promoting a safe environment.
- Utilize point-of-sale systems and manage financial transactions accurately.
- Hire and manage golf shop staff by conducting training, supervising and evaluating performance, and scheduling to match demand patterns
- Assist the General Manager in the facilitation of staff meetings
- Oversee the operations of the Driving Range
- May work some night shifts
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the golf or sports industry.
- Strong knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and industry trends.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to manage inventory and financial records effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.

- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business or related field preferred.
