Position Overview:
First Priority Emergency Vehicles is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to serve as the central hub of our daily operations, as we expand into our new 75,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art production facility in Lakewood, New Jersey. This role is essential to ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations across the site.
The Office
Manager will act as the primary front‑desk presence while supporting HR activities, assisting with basic accounting tasks, and serving as the go‑to resource for general office and facility needs. This is a highly visible position that requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors and incoming calls
· Manage front desk operations, including greeting guests and directing inquiries
· Handle mail distribution and office correspondence
· Coordinate meetings, conference rooms and general office scheduling
· Act as the on-site point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies and procedures
· Assist with onboarding new hires, including paperwork, orientation coordination and system setup
· Assist with basic accounting functions
· Support payroll-related documentation and timekeeping coordination
· Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for maintenance, repairs, and services
· Help ensure the office and common areas remain clean, organized, and professional
· Support leadership with administrative tasks and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in an Office Manager, administrative, accounting or similar role
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HR systems and ERP experience (Epicor preferred) is a plus
· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
· Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
· Valid driver’s license
Work Schedule:
· Monday through Friday
· Standard hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
