Ideal candidates will bring experience from large/mid-sized construction companies such as Fluor, Jacobs, Burns & McDonnell, DPR, Kiewit, CRB-in addition to Oil & Gas and Mining. Deep understanding of project tools and the accompanying experience is critical.
Lead Strategic Capital Projects (15%)
Oversee a portfolio of major capital and strategic initiatives from planning through completion across multiple locations--deploying >$500M in capital
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment (15%)
Partner with leaders across the business to align priorities, resources, and objectives. Facilitate collaboration and resolve issues to keep projects moving forward.
Manage Program Dependencies and Execution (15%)
Identify and coordinate connections between projects, remove obstacles, track key decisions, and ensure critical actions are completed on time.
Own Project Planning and Financial Performance (15%)
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure projects are delivered on scope, on schedule, within budget, and to quality expectations.
Lead Risk Management (15%)
Anticipate potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate impacts to stakeholders and senior leadership before issues affect project outcomes.
Provide Executive Reporting and Governance (15%)
Deliver clear project updates, performance reporting, and recommendations to leadership. Escalate issues appropriately and support effective decision-making.
Manage External Partners and Stakeholder Communication (10%)
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and other external partners to ensure successful project delivery and strong stakeholder engagement.
