Lemon Grove Yoga and Massage is a community healing space in Lemon Grove. We believe that it is possible to make wellness services accessible to people of all socio-economic status while paying our practitioners wages that honor their time and contributions. We are in need of a Deep Tissue Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructors to cover upcoming vacation days for our regular instructors. A bonus if you're certified in both!
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE THERAPIST
We are growing and in need of a Deep Tissue Massage Therapist with a focus on Asian Body Therapy modalities. Western-trained Deep Tissue Therapists are also welcome, and must be open to training. Our therapists receive more than half of our fees, which are listed below:
Members/First-responders/Teachers: $65/60-minutes ($35 Therapist pay) or $95/90-minutes ($50 Therapist pay)
Regular Clients: $85/60-minutes ($45 Therapist pay) or $125/90-minutes ($65 Therapist pay)
Because they are receiving such great care at an affordable rate, most of our clients tip generously.
Therapists can book massages for themselves at a deeply discounted rate ($45/60-minute, $60/90-minute) and receive a free birthday massage on their birthday month. This is a W2 position.
These are the required shifts to be covered (you need to be available for 2 of these shifts):
Every Other Saturdays 9am - 2pm
Wednesdays 2pm - 9pm
Thursdays 2pm - 9pm
YOGA INSTRUCTOR
We are looking for Yoga Instructors who are available for immediate opportunities on Tuesday (Healing Flow) and Wednesday (Yang and Yin) evenings at 6pm at our Yoga Studio. Below is our teaching schedule. You must also be available to sub 3 of these timeslots below.
Mondays 8:15am Deep Stretch and 6pm Restorative Hatha Yoga
Tuesdays 9:30am Healing Flow
Wednesdays 9:30am Hatha Yoga
Thursdays 9:30am Qigong and 6pm Yin Yoga
Fridays 8:15am Deep Stretch
Saturdays 8:15am Deep Stretch
Sundays 11am Healing Flow Yoga
We need these dates covered.
Pay is currently at $30.86 for each class.
