Position: Warehouse Manager
Pay Re: $90,000 - $100,000 per year
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensure all Inbound & Outbound SLA goals are met while orders are shipping accurely according to client & customer needs
- Managing the Operions of the warehouse including the following departments: Picking, Packing, Receiving, Traffic, Returns, VAS, Inventory & maintenance
- Plan & execute th DTC & wholesale outbound shipping is on track while working with Traffic to ensure orders are shipping on time
- Developing the warehouse leadership team:
- Proactively train & position back up roles to ensure roles are back filled in the event of turnover or time off
- Proactively supporting business initiives by maximizing current employee skills while providing a challenging and rewarding work environment
- Meeting with the Operions team, as a group and individually, to mentor and coach them to ensure goals are being met
- Monitoring SCI & WMS to ensure orderbook is in line with our SLAs & addressing roadblocks or opportunities when they are not met
- Work with upper management to optimize the processes of each department for efficiency & accuracy
- Maintaining an awareness of business needs, including new policies, clients or processes
- Ensure th all scheduled projects are successfully completed
- Oversee th the facility and all employees are in compliance with current safety procedures
- Enforce and maintain policies and procedures intended to ensure company compliance with local and federal regulions and standards
- Interacting with the accounting department to ensure accure billing and collections
- Serving as the main point of contact for after-hours service-reled issues and requests
- Monitoring Operions team employees' PTO, UPTO, and overtime & ensuring timecards are being approved for each payroll cycle
- Assisting in the preparion of Work Instructions and new customer onboarding procedures and standards
- Maintaining regular contact with CS & higher management for updes, changes & improvements
- Qualifying and interviewing job candides for the warehouse departments with the assistance of the Human Resource team
- Conducting yearly performance reviews for warehouse team members
- Providing corrective action plans to employees th have made errors or are performing below expections & separing with employees th do not meet our expections
- Maintaining and protecting the confidentiality of employee records, and other sensitive informion
- Assuming additional duties as required by the business or assigned by the Upper Manager
Job Requirements & Qualificions:
- 4+ years of management and operions experience in 3PL or warehouse equivalent jobs
- 2+ years of experience utilizing a Warehouse Management System
- Ability to be certified & train warehouse staff in motorized merial handling equipment
- Comprehensive knowledge of the transportion, freight, and logistics industry
- Ability to occasionally travel in order meet business needs
- Strong organizion and project management skills
- Excellent communicion, sales, leadership, teamwork, and negotiion skills
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and motive personnel to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth
- Ability to establish credibility and be decisive while recognizing and supporting the organizion's preferences and priorities
- Sound administrive skills and well-developed management skills
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to listen, converse and communice effectively via phone and in writing while fostering relionships with customers and prospects
- Computer Knowledge- Word, Excel, Outlook, and other programs
