Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken in Santa Ana is hiring a Part-Time Cashier for an immediate start.
Pay: $16.90 per hour plus tips. Tips are paid out daily and vary based on sales and business volume.
We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking team member who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing excellent customer service, works well with others, and can stay organized during busy shifts.
We are currently hiring for approximately 2–3 shifts per week.
Additional shifts may become available based on business needs and performance.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests and provide friendly, professional customer service
Take dine-in, takeout, and phone orders accurately
Operate the POS system and process cash and credit card transactions
Assist with online and third-party delivery orders
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house area
Help ensure orders are accurate before they reach guests
Work closely with team members to provide a smooth guest experience
Requirements:
Previous cashier, serving, or restaurant experience required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as needed
Weekend availability preferred
