Position Summary
The Principal Sales Operations Analyst provides advanced analytical systems, and process support to the global sales organization to improve forecast accuracy, operational efficiency, and revenue outcomes. This role independently owns complex initiatives across the order0to0revenue lifecycle, serves as a subject0matter expert in sales operations processes and tools, and partners cross0functionally to deliver executive0ready insights that support informed decision0making.
The Principal Analyst operates with limited supervision, manages competing priorities across multiple stakeholders, and provides guidance to other members of the team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Process Ownership
- Own and support end0to0end equipment slotting process and Sales input to the SIOP process.
- Lead the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of sales operations processes, controls, and performance metrics
- Identify process gaps, data issues, and operational risks; recommend and implement scalable solutions
Analytics, Reporting, and Insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analyses that provide actionable insights into sales performance and operational health
- Deliver executive0ready reporting to Sales Leadership to support forecast reviews, revenue governance, and strategic planning
- Translate complex data sets into clear, concise insights for both technical and non0technical stakeholders
Systems & Tools
- Serve as a power user and subject0matter expert for sales operations tools and systems, including ERP and business intelligence platforms
- Partner with IT and business applications teams to define requirements, test enhancements, and resolve system or data issues
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems supporting the quote0to0cash process
Cross0Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Product, and IT teams to align systems and data to meet business objectives
- Act as the primary Sales Operations point of contact for assigned cross0functional initiatives
- Proactively surface issues impacting order execution, reporting accuracy, or customer experience
Leadership & Knowledge Sharing
- Provide informal guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to junior analysts and new team members
- Contribute to the documentation of processes, best practices, and reporting standards
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor0s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 4+ years of professional experience, preferably in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, or a related analytics role
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Bi, and Ai Tools
- Experience with enterprise ERP and business intelligence tools (Oracle preferred)
- Understanding of data warehousing, and multi0system data flows is a plus
Core Competencies
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Experience in semiconductor capital equipment preferred
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to leadership
- Self0starter capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast0paced, global environment
- Comfortable collaborating across functions and time zones (Asia, Europe, and North America)
Compensation & Growth
Base Salary Range:
$128,000.00 - $192,000.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
