Bin Butlers is hiring a reliable Route Assistant to help service residential homes throughout South and Central Orange County.
This is a recurring, route-based position that involves helping homeowners with trash day by rolling bins to the curb before collection and returning them afterward.

This is a long-term, recurring position rather than a one-time gig. We are looking for someone dependable who wants consistent weekly work and is interested in growing with the company.
COMPENSATION
- $80 per assigned route day
- Paid daily via Venmo
- Most Route Assistants complete their routes in approximately 2–3 hours, making the effective compensation approximately $22–$26 per hour depending on route efficiency and driving distance.
- Compensation is based on completion of the assigned route, including driving time between service locations, and is not paid on an hourly basis

SCHEDULE & ROUTE DETAILS
Current routes operate Tuesday through Friday.
Typical route window:
4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Route Assistants are expected to begin their assigned route at 4:30 PM unless otherwise approved by management.
This is a driving-based position.
Route Assistants travel between multiple homes and neighborhoods throughout South and Central Orange County while completing assigned routes.

Newport Beach
Corona Del Mar
Newport Coast
Laguna Beach
Laguna Niguel
Mission Viejo
San Juan Capistrano
Irvine
Tustin
Santa Ana
Costa Mesa
Huntington Beach
Driving is a significant part of this role and should be expected.
Depending on the assigned day, Route Assistants may drive approximately 50–80 miles per route day, with total weekly route mileage averaging approximately 250 miles.
Applicants should enjoy driving, be comfortable navigating Orange County, and have a reliable vehicle suitable for regular route work.
Consistent arrival times are important due to HOA requirements, customer expectations, community access restrictions, and route efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Roll trash, recycling, and organics bins to the curb
- Return bins after collection
- Follow an established route
- Send simple photo confirmations after service
- Communicate with management regarding route completion
REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance
- Valid driver's license
- Smartphone with camera
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to repeatedly walk, bend, push, pull, and maneuver residential trash bins.
