The primary role of the Finance Manager is to serve as the strategic business partner to the Brand Group Leader (VP/Dir) and the broader Brand Group Leadership Team in driving the Brand Group towards achieving its Business and Financial objectives and provide decision support, financial expertise, and strategic insight to the leadership team. The Finance Manager will own the development of annual plans, forecasts, and latest estimates of the brand Group financials, drive gap closing action planning, monitor performance against key performance indicators, develop business cases and provide the necessary financial analysis required for decision support on all key initiatives within the Brand Group.
Responsibilities:
- Own development of annual plans, forecasts, and latest estimates.
- Monitor performance versus the annual budget, latest estimate, and prior year; provide variance analysis and identify risks / opportunities and required corrective actions.
- Drive cultural change in budget / forecast from Gap identification to Gap closing action planning.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and identify areas of improvement.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to identify critical requirements and provide timely information to support robust decision making.
- Analyze Brand Group financial results.
- Develop financial models and perform research and analysis as required by business group leads and /or Finance leadership.
- Drive financial analysis for strategic decisions including, but not limited to margin accretive product innovations, sourcing studies, and other brand initiatives.
- Provide presentation support, including content development and design.
- Ad hoc analysis to support various BU / Brand initiatives.
Experience, Skills, Education:

5 – 7 years of Finance and /or Financial Planning and Analysis experience with respected Food or other CPG companies required.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field required, MBA preferred.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Strong communication skills.

Strong financial analysis experience within the food and consumer packaged goods industries.
- Ability to analyze data and situations and assess critical issues, and lead others to appropriate action.
- Ability to manage multiple, and at times competing priorities, balancing aggressive objectives against short-term operational profit and cash requirements.
- Strong business acumen.
- Hands on, goal oriented, performance driven.
- High level of personal and professional integrity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Time Management skillset to create sufficient time/space to contribute to ad hoc requests and participate in significant cross-category and/or cross-functional initiatives.
- Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational, team building, project management, and analytical skills.
- Understanding / experience with Oracle JDE / EPM platform a plus.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range:
$101,897.00 - $169,829.00
Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon. Total pay may include other forms of compensation including short-term incentive bonus.
