Location: San Marcos, CA
Oasis Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician who can confidently handle troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and customer service in the field.
We are looking for a real service tech, not just a parts changer. The right person can accurately diagnose issues, communicate clearly with customers, and complete quality repairs on residential HVAC systems.
Pay
• $30-$60/hour depending on experience
• Commission opportunities
• Piece-work opportunities for highly qualified technicians
• $100K+ annual earning potential for the right person
What You’ll Be Doing
• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, controls, and performance issues
• Service furnaces, condensers, heat pumps, air handlers, package units, mini splits, and standard residential split systems
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and system evaluations
• Identify repair needs and present solutions clearly to customers
• Complete service calls professionally and efficiently
• Keep accurate job notes, photos, and invoices
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked service vehicle
What We’re Looking For
• Strong HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting experience
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Solid understanding of electrical diagnostics, refrigeration cycle, airflow, and controls
• Experience with residential service and repair
• Clean driving record
• Professional appearance and good communication skills
• EPA certification required
• NATE certification is a plus
• Sales ability is a plus, but we want someone who can actually diagnose and fix problems first
