We are looking for an attorney who is confident handling cases independently, enjoys litigation, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a caseload of applicant workers’ compensation matters from inception through resolution
• Attend hearings, MSCs, status conferences, and trials before the WCAB
• Conduct depositions and prepare clients for testimony
• Review medical records and evaluate case strategy
• Draft legal pleadings, petitions, DORs, and correspondence
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with defense counsel
• Work closely with hearing representatives, legal assistants, and support staff
• Maintain strong client communication and provide case updates
