Summary
We are seeking a Shop Supervisor with programming experience to join our dynamic team at South Alliance Industries. In this role, you will oversee shop operations, ensuring that production meets quality standards while optimizing efficiency. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining a productive work environment and meeting our customers' needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shop operations and manage a team of machinists
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Monitor workflow and production schedules to meet customer deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning.
- Provide training and support to staff on equipment use and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics and inventory levels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes and CNC operations.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading is essential.
- Excellent communication skills for effective team management.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions promptly.
- Experience with quality control measures in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
