About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President to join the Energy & Power group focused on IPP & Thermal Generation transactions.
In this role, you will:
Execute capital markets and M&A transactions for our corporate clients
Present complex ideas and analyses to internal and external parties
Generate strategic content, including industry analysis and product-specific concepts
Coordinate deliverables with internal product partners
Manage day-to-day project workflows
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
Experience in the Power sector
Experience with transactions in the IPP/Thermal Generation space
Large acquisition financing experience
Company or asset sellside and buyside experience
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lead and coach junior staff
Job Expectations
Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
