KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Accounting
- Prepare and manage AIA billing documents (G702/G703)
- Maintain accurate work-in-progress (WIP) schedules
- Monitor job costing across all active contracts
Payroll & Tax Compliance
- Process payroll for field and office staff
- File federal and state payroll taxes on schedule
- Ensure compliance with all applicable wage and labor requirements
Banking & Reconciliation
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage cash flow forecasting
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners
Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Oversight
- Supervise AR and AP teams
- Review aging reports and enforce collection policies
- Review and approve vendor disbursements
Financial Reporting & Strategy
- Produce monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and KPI dashboards
- Partner with ownership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic growth planning

QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience in construction, mechanical contracting, or a trades-related industry
- Demonstrated experience with AIA billing (G702/G703) and work-in-progress (WIP) schedule management
- Proficiency in construction accounting software (Sage, Viewpoint, QuickBooks, or similar) and payroll platforms
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax filing requirements
- Experience supervising AR and AP staff with the ability to lead by example and build team accountability
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- CPA or CMA designation a plus

- Salary: $125,000 – $155,000 based on experience
