SUMMARY
Provides leadership to Life Skills Trainers (LST) in the residence and in the community and provides direct services to program participants.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The requirements listed below are representive of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:
- Participes in client training to assure client objectives and company goals are achieved.
- Participes in community outings, house oriention to all new employees, serve as a role model to all house staff assuring th documention is completed accurely and timely.
- Replaces, reassigns, or cancels staffing assignments as needed.
- Facilites residential staff problem solving, provides direct residential staff supervision, and inities residential staff corrective action interventions, as required.
- Coordines and completes participant and staff accident/injury/incident report investigion forms for incidents th occur during shift.
- Assumes immedie leadership role in implementing personal intervention, active trement, and crisis prevention as needs arise during shift/while on community outings.
- Successfully completes mandory training. Responsible for tending annual/Semi-annual refresher/re-certificion courses prior to certificion expirion.
- Assists with house staffing needs and staff recruitment as required.
- Reviews client progress, coordining and implementing shift objectives and making recommendions to the supervisor.
- Provides for the delivery of services such as skills training, job coaching, behavior management in accordance with the Individual Plan (IP) and/or trement team.
- Provides coaching and leadership to LST’s to ensure th the therapeutic goals are met and th programs are facilited in a respectful manner.
- Understands and ensures adherence to company policies and procedures; also ensure compliance with relevant external regulory stutes and standards.
- Performs other deleged duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads assigned staff, including performance evaluions, scheduling, oriention, and trainings, as required. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job
The requirements listed below are representive of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:
Educion and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ experience in providing direct services in the human services field.
Certifices, Licenses, and Registrions Required:
- Current driver's license, car registrion and auto insurance if providing transportion for individual receiving services.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificion as required.

Physical Requirements:
- Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
