ROLE SUMMARY
TheSenior Manager, Global Medical Affairs for Obesity will provide support for the Global Obesity Medical strategy to achieve short- and long-termMedicalobjectives in alignment with the overall business strategy. The incumbent is an integral member of the Global Medical team, supporting ongoing and newMedicalinitiatives to enable productive internal cross-functional and external professional partnerships. He/she works to developappropriate collaborationsexternally to strengthenMedicalnetworks and promote scientific data generation.He/she works to developobesity-focusedMedicalcommunications and supports the Global Medical Affairs operating plan while putting the patient first within the spectrum of the Pfizer Core Values and Behaviors.Through effective collaboration with cross-functional asset and medical partners, the Senior Manager will play a key role in advancing the team's strategic and scientific objectives. This role will report into the Global Obesity Medical Lead.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN REPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Supports the development and execution of Global medical strategies and tactics in support of theobesityportfolio.
- Assist with scientific searches, data summaries, internal training presentations as a strategic scientific/therapeutic area expert.
- Collaborate and ensure communication alignment among cross-functional medical partners (country medical, field medical, medical information) and other stakeholders to enhance and deliver upon Global medical plans
- Participate and supportthe review of promotional and non-promotional materials (i.e.the US review committee (RC)); within RC, partner with legal, regulatory, and marketing colleagues to ensure compliant,accurateand high-quality content of promotional and non-promotional materials.
- Serves as a reliable and trusted source ofaccuratescientific knowledge ofthe data, disease state, product label, and competitive data.
- Serves as needed as a Medical Affairs reviewer for MRC (Medical Review Committee).
- Supportsdata generation/analyses,ensures medical and scientific accuracy of manuscripts and abstracts/posters, andthepublication and congress planning processes(s).
- Supportsthe customer insights process and the importance of customer insights,track competitive intelligence relevant to Obesity,participateinplanning and execution of Advisory Boards (when needed) to gather expert advice on medical planning.
- Supportsmedical education grants, including development of requestsfor proposals (RFPs),and providing scientifically critical review and management of proposed and ongoing grants.
- Manageheadquarters-led advisory boards,includingadvisor identification,contractingandengagement.
- As needed, initiatesandmaintainscommunications with the leadership of professional societies and patient advocacy groups to furtherMedicalobjectives.
- Partners with Medical Information colleagues to provide expert input into Medical Letters and ensure updates as needed.
- Support thedevelopmedical content for congresses, symposia, promotional speakers and advisory boards and lead orparticipatein such activities in full compliance with Pfizer policy.QUALIFICATIONS
Terminal Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, or Doctor of Nursing Practice) with 2+ years of relevant experience required. Medical Affairs experience in Obesity therapeutic area is preferred.
- Highly motivated with demonstrated track record of high performance and excellence.
- Strong strategic skills including creativity and effectiveness in proactively identifying and addressing challenges.
- Capable of comprehending and communicating in a clear, concise manner a large amount of scientific information
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate among key stakeholders and build internal and external relationships.
- Well-organized with the ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands, and effectively lead in a matrix organization.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $139,100.00 to $231,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
