Huron’s Education & Research (EDR) practice is seeking a strategic, people centered HR leader to help shape the future of one of our most dynamic businesses. This role is not traditional HR—it offers a true seat at the leadership table as a trusted advisor and business partner.
As the HR Strategy Lead for EDR, you will work closely with senior leaders to design and deliver the talent strategies that support growth, strengthen culture, and build long term capability across a global organization. You’ll balance strategic perspective with hands on leadership, and your impact will be felt across the employee lifecycle—from leadership development to workforce planning.
What You’ll Do
- Set and drive the talent agenda
Partner with EDR leadership to define and execute a people strategy aligned to business priorities, growth plans, and evolving market needs. - Build a highperforming, engaged workforce
Lead core talent programs including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, development planning, and merit and promotion cycles, with a focus on retention and leadership readiness. - Lead and develop HR talent
Manage and coach a team of HR Business Partners, providing guidance, escalation support, and modeling strong, consultative HR leadership. - Use insights to inform decisions
Leverage data, analytics, and dashboardsprimarily through Workdayto surface trends, inform decisions, and help leaders address complex workforce challenges. - Champion culture and inclusion
Partner with leaders to reinforce Huron’s commitment to an inclusive, equitable culture through thoughtful talent practices and continuous improvement. - Connect strategy across the firm
Act as a bridge between EDR and Huron’s Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards), ensuring firmwide capabilities are effectively applied to EDR’s unique needs.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong foundation in strategic business partnering
- Proven experience leading HR initiatives in fastpaced, geographically dispersed organizations
- Professional services or consulting experience preferred, with genuine curiosity about the business
- Ability to operate comfortably at both strategic and tactical levels
- Strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills, with credibility at the seniorleader level
- Travel 25%

The estimated base salary range for this job is $190,000 - $265,000. The rangerepresentsa good faith estimate of the range that Huronreasonably expectsto pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible toparticipatein Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentivecompensationopportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $247,000 - $344,500. The job is also eligible toparticipatein Huron’s benefitplanswhich include medical, dental and visioncoverageand other wellness programs. The salaryrange informationprovided isin accordance withapplicable state and local lawsregardingsalary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
