The American Comedy Co. is looking for a reliable, energetic, and technically skilled Sound Engineer / Show Technician to join our team.

This position plays a major role in the live show experience and requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced comedy club environment while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Operate and manage sound and lighting boards during live comedy performances
- Ensure all audio and lighting equipment is functioning properly before and during shows
- Work directly with comedians and staff to maintain smooth show flow
- Capture and post Instagram Stories, photos, and social media content during shows
- Assist with basic stage setup and troubleshooting technical issues as needed
- Announce Preshow/Postshow
Requirements
- Experience operating professional sound and lighting boards
- Strong understanding of live audio production
- Proficient with Instagram and social media posting
- Ability to create engaging IG Stories and capture live event content
- Open availability and ability to work all weekends
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work late nights
- Comedy club, concert venue, or live event experience preferred
Schedule
- Nights and weekends required
- Must have open weekend availability
- Typical Hours: Thu 6:45pm-10:30pm, Fri/Sat 6:15pm-12:00am
Sound Pay: $24/hour
