Role Summary
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, hardware, software, and IT support operations. This role ensures that technology resources are reliable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day IT operations, including networks, servers, devices, applications, and user support.
- Lead IT help desk activities and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Maintain and improve cybersecurity practices, including access controls, backups, endpoint protection, and user training.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, printers, phones, and other technology assets.
- Manage vendor relationships for internet, software, hardware, cloud services, and IT support providers.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, documentation, and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to infrastructure and business systems.
- Manage IT budgets, purchasing, licensing, and asset inventory.
- Support business software platforms such as Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft 365, or other company systems.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and internal control requirements.
- Lead IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, new software implementations, and office technology improvements.
- Supervise, train, and mentor IT staff, contractors, or support vendors as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of IT experience, including systems administration, network support, or IT operations.
- Prior supervisory or IT project management experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows environments, networking, cloud services, cybersecurity tools, and help desk systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support users across departments.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, or PMP are a plus.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
