Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational performance at the plant level
- Lead the deployment of Operations Excellence tools, platforms, and CI frameworks
- Analyze manufacturing and financial data to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
- Train and coach employees on Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and structured CI methodologies
- Partner directly with front-line teams using a hands-on, floor-based leadership approach
- Provide project management leadership for CI pilots and full-scale rollouts
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure CI strategy alignment and stakeholder support
- Support plant transformation initiatives and change management efforts
- Travel up to 20% as needed
Qualifications – Needed
Education:
o Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of related experience OR
o High School Diploma / GED with 8+ years of manufacturing CI experience
- Preferred: Master’s Degree
- Certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt strongly preferred
- Experience:
o Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Six Sigma
o Manufacturing operations and plant-level continuous improvement
o Data analytics using process and financial metrics
o Leading CI projects from concept through implementation
o Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
o Drive sustainable change in fast-paced manufacturing environments
