Protex produces custom foam inserts to protect and organize hand tools, aerospace parts/tools, and consumer products (firearms, cameras). Our custom foam inserts are designed to be used with cases and tool cabinets.
NOTE: Bilingual English and Spanish Required.
This position will work with customers and design team in creating tool lay-outs using our editing software, generate renderings of projects and creating production sheets.
Candidate needs to following:
>Knowledge of Solid Works.
>Experience with Correl Draw and/or knowledge of the Adobe suite of products.
>CAM experience with products like CamWorks or other CAM software.
>Knowledge of reading technical drawings.
>Bi-lingual English and Spanish required.
Job Responsibilities:
>Develop and modify 3D models using Solidworks
>Create and optimize CAM tool paths for CNC routers using CAMworks.
>Work created using proprietary software to create designs and lay-outs for customers.
>Create project travelers and proper documentation including work instructions.
>Work with one off-site designer and part time in-house designer to provide daily direction.
Compensation will equal experience.
A full review and increase will occur after your 60-90 training period
