The AVP, Finance Decision Support is a senior finance executive who serves as a strategic thought partner to the business, shaping enterprise financial strategy and enabling informed decision‑making across complex, multi-channel operations. This leader plays a critical role in maturing the organization’s financial discipline, translating insight into action, and guiding executive leaders through growth, transformation, and investment decisions.
This role is based onsite in Columbus, OH (4 days/week) and partners closely with the Senior Leadership Team and functional executive teams to drive planning and long‑range value creation. The AVP leads a high‑performing decision‑support organization, brings rigor and clarity to financial outcomes, and elevates how finance informs strategy across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Financial Leadership
Lead annual planning, forecasting, and long‑range strategic modeling, ensuring alignment between financial outcomes and business priorities.
Serve as a trusted partner to Senior Leadership (EVPs, SVPs, and VPs) shaping financial strategy that enables growth, scalability, and disciplined execution.
Deliver compelling, executive‑level insights through P&L reviews, performance analysis, and scenario modeling that inform enterprise decisions.
Influence capital allocation, investment prioritization, and resource optimization across functions and business units.
Strategic Decision Support & Business Partnership
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs — helping leaders make confident, data‑informed decisions.
Build strong, credible relationships across the organization to ensure financial perspectives are fully embedded in strategic and operational planning.
Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic direction and execution.
People Leadership & Organizational Maturity
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of high‑impact finance professionals, building bench strength and future finance leaders.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and business ownership within the FP&A organization.
Champion diversity of thought, collaboration, and executive‑ready communication across the finance function.
Process, Systems & Analytics Excellence
Elevate financial planning and reporting through process optimization, automation, and advanced analytics.
Drive modernization of FP&A tools, data visualization, and modeling capabilities to improve speed, accuracy, and decision quality.
Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and compliance while enabling the business to move at pace.
Transformation, Change & Special Initiatives
Lead finance partnership on enterprise initiatives including M&A analysis, cost transformation, and evolving business models.
Represent Finance on enterprise steering committees and transformation programs.
Assess and articulate the enterprise‑level implications of strategic investments and change initiatives.
NOTE: Work Location Requirement- This role is designated as onsite. Any flexibility or future changes to this requirement must be reviewed and approved by executive leadership.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree a plus).
10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior‑level FP&A or decision‑support leadership.
4–6 years of deep operational finance experience supporting areas such as field operations, supply chain, sales, or solutions.
Demonstrated breadth of business and financial acumen with the ability to connect strategy, operations, and financial outcomes.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders, drive alignment, and lead through complexity and change.
Executive presence with strong emotional intelligence, communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
Advanced capability in financial modeling, analytics, and insight generation, with expert use of Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
Track record of leveraging FP&A insights to deliver tangible business results while managing multiple, complex priorities.
