We’re Hiring: Construction Project Engineer
Join our growing team and play a key role in delivering high-quality construction projects. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to support project execution from planning through completion in a fast-paced environment.
🔹 Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects
- Review plans, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Track project schedules, budgets, and progress; identify and report variances
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Prepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Support procurement and material tracking processes
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in construction or project engineering (internships count)
- Strong understanding of construction processes and documentation
- Proficiency in Excel and construction/project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must reside in Miami, FL or surrounding areas
- Must have valid and up-to-date legal authorization to work in the United States
🔹 Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with commercial or hospitality projects
- OSHA certification is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
📍 Location: Miami, FL
Please note that this role is not located at the Holiday Inn Express hotel property. The position will support construction projects at designated job sites throughout the Miami area.
