Role Overview
We’re seeking a Quantitative Analyst to join our Philadelphia team and play a key role in the analysis, structuring, and risk assessment of new and existing transactions. You will build and refine financial models, craft investment committee materials, and support ongoing portfolio monitoring.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and excited to use modern AI tools to accelerate research, modeling, coding, documentation, and workflow automation. Experience with tools such as Claude Cowork, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar AI-assisted development and productivity platforms is a strong plus.
What You Will Do
Candidates should be prepared to assist senior investment professionals in a range of activities, including but not limited to:
∙ Construct and maintain Monte Carlo models in Python applications and Excel to forecast cash flows, assess risk-return profiles, and perform sensitivity analyses for prospective investments.
∙ Forecast fund performance by rolling up underlying investment cash flows through fund structures and waterfalls.
∙ Update and enhance historical models to monitor portfolio performance and identify variances from initial forecasts.
∙ Evaluate FX and interest rate hedging strategies to mitigate market volatility.
∙ Automate data ingestion, processing, model validation, reporting, and recurring analytical workflows using AI tools, Excel, VBA, Python, and related technologies.
∙ Use AI-assisted coding and research tools to improve productivity, generate and review code, troubleshoot models, summarize documents, and streamline investment analysis.
∙ Draft and polish presentation decks and memos for co-investment opportunities and investment committee review, detailing structures, key assumptions, and risk analyses.
∙ Drive quantitative research projects such as developing proprietary analytics, refining existing frameworks, and implementing industry best practices in modeling, data science, automation, and AI-enabled investment workflows.
Qualifications
∙ Experience Level: 0-2 years of experience.
∙ Academic Achievement: Top 10% of graduating class or GPA ≥ 3.6 in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
∙ Technical Skills: Strong AI, Microsoft Excel, and Python skills; experience building investment banking-style models; comfort working with large datasets and financial modeling workflows.
∙ AI Fluency: Candidates should be comfortable using AI to build internal applications and dashboards, accelerate coding, automate repetitive tasks, summarize complex information, improve documentation, and enhance analytical workflows.
∙ Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; ability to translate complex analyses into clear narratives.
∙ Attention to Detail: Meticulous mindset with a commitment to accuracy, including the ability to critically review AI-generated outputs and independently validate analyses.
∙ Initiative & Teamwork: Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to identify opportunities to improve processes through technology, automation, and AI.
∙ Bonus: Foreign language proficiency; track record of volunteerism; leadership in extracurricular activities; experience with APIs, data pipelines, version control, or building AI-enabled tools for financial analysis.
