Social Media Manager (Appliance Retail Store)

About Us:
We are a growing appliance retail business focused on delivering quality products and excellent customer service to our community. As we expand, we’re looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to elevate our online presence and help drive sales.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and grow our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Create engaging content including posts, reels, stories, and live streams
- Showcase appliances through demos, promotions, and educational content
- Plan and execute content calendars aligned with sales events and promotions
- Engage with followers, respond to messages/comments, and build community
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize content for growth and conversions
- Collaborate with our team on marketing campaigns, sales, and inventory highlights
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business (retail experience a plus)
- Strong content creation skills (photo, video, captions)
- Comfortable being on camera or directing on-camera content
- Understanding of trends, algorithms, and what drives engagement
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with livestream selling (Whatnot, Instagram Live, etc.)
- Basic graphic design or video editing
- Knowledge of appliances or home goods
Compensation:
Hourly / Salary / Per Project — DOE
