We are looking for an energetic, hardworking, reliable Assistant Window Installer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, entry-level position designed for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in the construction trades. You will work directly with a Lead Installer to remove and install residential replacement windows and doors. Window/construction experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate—we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Work schedule:
Monday thru Friday, 7:45am start; ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities:
- Assist with Installation: Help load/unload, carry, and position new window units, doors, and glass panels.
- Site Prep & Tear Out: Remove old windows, prep openings, and clean up job sites to ensure a safe, organized environment.
- Skill Development: Learn to measure window openings, cut trim, seal units, and ensure installations are airtight, level, and weatherproof.
- Tool Handling: Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and lifting equipment.
What We Are Looking For:
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather.
- Experience: Basic construction knowledge or handyman experience is a plus, but not required.
- Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean record.
