Volt is immediately hiring Soldering Assembler's for manufacturing companies in Miramar Ca & Kearny Mesa Ca.
As a Soldering Assembler you will:
-Assemble electronic components and subassemblies according to work instructions, schematics, and drawings
-Builds cable and wire harnesses, box assemblies, kits, and other products from start to finish while working under indirect supervision
-Perform Surface mount Soldering and thru-hole soldering in accordance with IPC standards
-Identify, document, and communicate inconsistencies or errors in work instructions, documentation, or product during the assembly process
-Take basic electrical measurements using a digital multimeter (DMM)
-Inspect assembled products to ensure compliance with quality and workmanship standards
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
-Follow all safety, quality, and ESD procedures at all times
-Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel regarding assembly issues or improvement opportunities
This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills & Qualifications
-High school diploma or equivalent required
-Minimum of six (1) year of related electronics assembly experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
-Experience assembling products in more than one functional area of the PCA production floor
-Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
-IPC-J-STD soldering certification REQUIRED (Okay, if no longer active, can re-certify onsite)
-IPC-A?610 certification preferred
-Can multitask while staying detail oriented
-Ability to sit for extended periods while performing repetitive assembly or soldering tasks
-Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
1st shift: 7am-3:30pm
2nd shift:
-Mon - Thursday 2:20pm - 10:50pm
-Friday - 1:20pm - 9:50pm
Pay Rate: $20-25 per hour
