Purpose: Tomaintainthe highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick, efficient, and professional Room Service.
Reports to: Room Service Manager, Assistant Room Service Manager, Room Service Captain
- Must have complete knowledge of service time, menu, and specials.
- Prepare, deliverand service orders.
- Always inquire if additionalservice is needed.
- Responsible for each check.
- Responsible for pick-uptables and trays.
- Responsible for set-up, deliveryand presentation of VIPamenity.
- Responsible for hospitality set-up.
- Must consult with supervisor on any food pick-up difficulty.
- Complete all side duties as assigned.
- Must minimize breakage.
- Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
Hotel Specific Essential Functions:
- Responsible for breakingdown ofdirty tables and trays.
- Responsible for answering phone if Order taker is not present.
- Coffee maker/urn, toaster, microwave, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-marycart, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine
- Walk-in refrigerator, Room Service tables, hot box,
- Interior of hotel, in the restaurant, kitchen and guestroom.Exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure tofood items and beverages.
