A well-established, growing transportation organization is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead its Chattanooga market. This is a visible, local leadership role responsible for operations execution, team leadership, facility standards, and market growth.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as the on-site leader for professional drivers and staff
- Own day-to-day operations, facility appearance, and local brand presence
- Collaborate closely with dispatch, safety, and leadership teams
- Actively support charter sales growth and community relationships within the local market
- Represent the organization with clients, partners, and at community events
- Provide operational support and leadership beyond standard business hours as needed
What we’re looking for:
- 3–5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (operations, transportation, logistics, or sales)
- Strong people leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to build relationships and drive local growth
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-facing, DOT-regulated environment
