Intern: Acquisition & Finance (summer intern, full time - anticipated transition to permanent, full time)
Position Summary
The Acquisition & Finance Intern supports assigned projects and day-to-day tasks designed to provide hands-on exposure to acquisition and financial functions. This role offers the opportunity to explore career interests, build transferable skills, and gain practical insight into the field. The intern will collaborate across departments, develop professional relationships, and gain a broad understanding of the manufactured housing industry as well as core principles of Commercial Real Estate. All work is expected to align with company goals, objectives, and core values.
Duties and Responsibilities
What you will do:
The qualified individual will work as an integralpart of the Acquisitions team to perform the following essential job functions:
Acquisitions
- Organize diligence files as received(deal kickoff and throughout)
- Scan/upload any physicalfiles received (DD, site visits, etc.)
- Compile NADA’s for inventory cost analysis
- Assist with variousdiligence analysis including, rent rolls, inventory, financial & utilityanalysis
- Analyze property & deal information for prospective acquisitions
- Conduct market research
- Market survey analysis
- Area & demographic analysis
- Internal Pipeline Database (Termsheet)
- Log deal &property info
- Audit existing deal & propertyinfo
Reporting
- Investor Reports – Gather & prepare variousreports to be included in the monthlyproperty management reports for our investors
- Internal Reports – Assist to update reports used within Cambio for various monthly processes
- Budget Setup – Assist with setup for the 2027 Budget process by compiling property & portfolio-wide data
Other
- Position may requireflexible hours, nights,and weekends as needed.
- Position may requiretemporary or permanent reassignment of work location as directed by Senior Leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What you shouldhave:
- No prior experience or training.
- Pursuing a careerin the internship career field,or similar, or pursuing a degree in the in the same.
- Must maintain an active and valid driverlicense and clean driving record.
- Must have reliabletransportation to work.
- Must maintain an active and working personalmobile phone.
- Computer skills required:Microsoft Office Suite
- A growth mindset;always testing and learning.
- Willingness and abilityto present self in a neat, clean,and professional manneralways throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.
