The Town of Scarborough and Scarborough Public Schools (Maine), is seeking an experienced full-time Information Systems Director. This position has responsibility for ensuring the acquisition, application and integration of information technology systems and services that support the academic, administrative and operational strategies of the municipal and school departments. The Director will be the strategic leader of Scarborough's information technology vision, policy and planning with direct responsibility for managing the Department of Information Technology Services.
Job Requirements: Advanced degree in computer science, management information systems or related field and a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in technology related positions, including at least five years of experience performing senior management or executive-level ITS responsibilities. Experience and skill in managing personnel and departmental fiscal responsibilities. Driver's license with excellent driving record is required as well as availability to work evenings. In lieu of the above, any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the following knowledge, abilities, and skills may be considered at the discretion of the Town of Scarborough.
