Are you a vigilant, reliable, and professional Security Officer looking to make a difference? Join the team at Inter-Con Security Systems and play a key role in ensuring safety at one of our critical client sites in San Diego, CA. We’re hiring immediately for individuals who take pride in protecting people and property.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and inspect life safety equipment (AEDs, fire extinguishers, duress alarms, etc.) and report any deficiencies.
Respond to security incidents, alarms, or suspicious activity and document all findings accurately.
Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and support dispatch functions.
Sign in all visitors, contractors, and vendors while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.
Provide escort services, when required.
Respond quickly and professionally to calls for assistance or emergencies.
Maintain excellent customer service by treating all employees, visitors, and guests with respect.
Promote and maintain the client’s brand image through professional and courteous conduct.
Requirements:
*CA driver's license (preferable)
*Highschool diploma (preferable)
*Open availability
*Be able to pass a background check and drug screening
*Valid Guard Card (preferable, we also sponsor!)
*Experience with Customer service and basic security duties
*Be able to commute 20 miles around your area
Preferred Experience:
1+ year in security, law enforcement, or military service
Prior experience monitoring CCTV systems or working in a dispatch or customer-facing role
