The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team:
This position is for an experienced commodity manager on the Electronics Commodity team, supporting the passives space. Responsibilities will be to develop an overall strategy for the relevant categories, partnering with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs/strategy, aligning with key suppliers, and sending quotes/completing contract negotiations to execute strategy.
What You Will Do:
- Develops a strategic plan for a commodity and supply base
- Collaborates with multiple business units to execute Supply Chain strategies
- Owns and responsible for relationship with multiple strategic suppliers
- Evaluates and selects supplier alignment based on price competitiveness, capability, quality, reliability (TCO)
- Analyzes data and information to determine reasonable prices.
- Negotiates and executes long term agreements with supply base that aligns with commodity strategy and internal stakeholders needs
- Leads sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature
- Works with limited oversight from leadership
- Manages several projects at one time with a variety of complexity
- Clearly communicate commodity or project status to leadership
- Ability to identify and pursue VA/VE opportunities through collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Lead change management or work transfer projects for cost savings or better alignment with supply base.
- Influence and support Collins strategic initiatives and change management projects.
- This individual can sit near any Raytheon Technologies domestic location. Travel Required: 15%
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum XX years experience
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain practices and Commodity Management
- Negotiations skills
- Strong Analytical skill (Excel, Access database, SAP)

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
