We are looking for our newest team member. We are looking for an front cashier or assistant manager for a full time position. Do you have excellent customer service skills? Do you want to create positive outcomes for our customers in a convenience store & gas station environment?
We have two separated locations. This is for Ways Market and Chevron Leucadia located at 865 Orpheus Ave. Encinitas, CA 92024. Our other location is --- The Shell Gas Station is located at 6695 Mira Mesa Blvd. San Diego, CA 92121.
We are looking for one new member at each location.
The pay will be hourly, but there will be additional opportunities. You will get a gas weekly discount as well. The position will be a combination of weekday and weekends. Alternatively, we are willing to have just a weekend manager who works Saturday/Sunday. You will work directly with another site manager and the ownership. This is a busy station, with a taco shop. (You are not responsible for the taco shop).
You must have previous experience as a cashier at gas station or another retail outlet such as restaurant, store, etc. We will fully train you, and all training will be paid for. All the systems are in place for you to have a successful career.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have the ability to accurately handle money
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must be capable of effectively communicating with customers and co-workers
• Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
• Must be able to do simple math such as counting, recording, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• Minimum education level of high school graduate or GED equivalency
• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift
• Regularly lift and or move up to 20-50 pounds
