We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Desktop PC Technician to join our IT team onsite in Norcross, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing desktop computers and related hardware/software, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently, effectively, and securely. This role involves direct interaction with users and requires excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities
- Build, provision, diagnose, and troubleshoot end user desktop/laptop computers and peripherals
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on PCs and related equipment
- Provide technical support and guidance to users
- Manage inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Manage Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Intune and SharePoint
- Document technical knowledge using company standards
- Collaborate with other Operations IT group members to ensure smooth and reliable operation of systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in desktop computer technology
Basic Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a PC Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC hardware
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN networks and TCP/IP protocols
- Experience with common software and hardware troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Good communication abilities, with an emphasis on customer service
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional
- Experience with desktop virtualization tools
- Knowledge of Collaboration Tools, and Desktop security implementations
