Position Overview
Beyond Technology is hiring a Level 1 Technician who operates both in the field and remotely supporting clients. This role is designed for someone who can handle hands-on installations while also managing basic support tickets, remote troubleshooting, and client communication.
This is a position requiring flexibility. Some days will be spent onsite repairing cable, installing equipment, and solving physical infrastructure issues. Other days will be in-office, handling tickets, assisting users, and supporting ongoing client environments.
This role requires ownership, initiative, and the ability to work without constant oversight.

Core Responsibilities
Remote IT Support
* Provide Level 1 support via phone, email, and remote tools
* Troubleshoot:
* Email and Microsoft 365 issues
* Printer and peripheral problems
* Basic software and end-user issues (including platforms like Dentrix)
* Set up new users, devices, and permissions
* Perform remote diagnostics and escalate when necessary
* Document all work clearly and consistently
Field & Onsite IT Support
* Travel to client sites for onsite support and deployments
* Troubleshoot workstations, connectivity, and hardware issues
* Install and configure desktops, laptops, and peripherals
* Assist with networking equipment installs and replacements
Cabling & Infrastructure
* Repair, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
* Assist with basic fiber installs
* Install patch panels, racks, and cable management systems
* Label and document all work properly
Low Voltage & Equipment Installations
* Assist with installation of:
* Wireless access points
* IP security cameras
* Access control systems
* VoIP phones
* Ensure clean, professional, and secure installations

Requirements
* Basic IT knowledge (workstations, networking fundamentals)
* Ability to troubleshoot common end-user issues independently
* Willingness to perform physical work (cabling, installs, climbing, lifting)
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
* Comfortable working in ceilings, attics, and job site environments
* Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
* CompTIA A+ or similar certification
* Experience with structured cabling
* Familiarity with Ubiquiti, Fortinet, Cisco or similar networking equipment
* Prior MSP or client-facing IT experience
