Our client, a dynamic organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join their team. As an IT Support specialist, you will be an integral part of the IT department supporting internal teams and end-users. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: IT Support
Location: New York, New York, with remote work options available
What's the Job?
- Provide advanced technical support to end-users via phone, email, and chat channels
- Manage incident tickets, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure timely resolution
- Assist in hardware and software installation, configuration, and updates
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams on system upgrades and security enhancements
- Maintain accurate records of support activities and contribute to knowledge base articles
What's Needed?
- 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems analysis, or related fields
- Advanced knowledge of Windows OS, networking (VPN, Wi-Fi), and cloud applications
- Experience with IT security compliance and disaster recovery procedures
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and service desk SLAs
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues
