About The Role
We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused IT Help Desk Technician to serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related support across the organization. This role provides both in-office and remote technical support to ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, and IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via Zendesk tickets and phone
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Support remote users with desktop, internet, and printer issues
- Create user accounts and configure hardware for new hires
- Track, prioritize, and follow up on support requests to ensure timely resolution
- Assist with setup and maintenance of laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices
- Participate in after-hours or weekend support for scheduled projects as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Location: Phoenix, AZ; In-office, full-time
Pay: $22–$25 per hour, based on experience
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a help desk or desktop support role
- Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Google Workspace, Chrome, and Microsoft Office
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to support non-technical users
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy (GPO)
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi)
- Experience supporting IT hardware (laptops, printers, scanners, peripherals, mobile devices)
- Basic understanding of server/domain environments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred, but not required
