Vice President, Enterprise Technology

The Vice President of Enterprise Technology is responsible for leading the strategic direction, modernization, and operational performance of the company’s enterprise technology environment. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of IT, this role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of core IT systems while driving initiatives that improve operational efficiency, data visibility, and enterprise productivity.
This leader will oversee enterprise technology including infrastructure, ERP/MRP systems, enterprise applications, and data platforms while identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics. The Vice President will work closely with leadership across the organization—including manufacturing, operations, finance, and sales—to ensure technology investments support business growth and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise IT leadership with a forward-looking technology mindset, capable of maintaining stable, secure systems while introducing innovative technologies that enhance productivity and enable data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead modernization of the organization’s technology ecosystem, including infrastructure, enterprise systems, and data platforms.
- Identify and implement emerging technologies that improve operational efficiency, employee productivity, and business insight.
- Partner with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with long-term strategic priorities.
- Enterprise Systems & ERP Leadership
Partner with business leaders to ensure enterprise systems effectively support operational processes while maintaining responsibility for system performance, integrations, and technical evolution.
- Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of ERP/MRP systems and enterprise applications.
- Lead ERP enhancements, integrations, and system improvements that support manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operational processes.
- Oversee ERP development resources responsible for customization, automation, and reporting capabilities.
- Ensure enterprise systems maintain strong data integrity and integration across platforms.
- Partner with operational leaders to ensure enterprise systems support evolving business workflows and operational visibility.
- IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Ensure operational reliability, scalability, and security of enterprise IT infrastructure and business-critical systems.
- Oversee IT service delivery including service desk operations, network infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
- Establish IT governance, operational standards, and performance metrics to ensure high-quality technology services.
- Manage technology resources and support alignment of IT investments with business priorities.
- Data, Analytics & AI Enablement
- Develop enterprise data strategies that enable advanced reporting, analytics, and operational insights.
- Promote data-driven decision making across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence and intelligent automation to improve productivity and streamline workflows.
- Promote adoption of automation and AI-enabled tools that reduce manual work, improve efficiency, and enhance operational visibility.
- Manufacturing Technology & Operational Integration
- Partner with manufacturing and operations leadership to implement technology solutions that improve production efficiency and operational visibility.
- Integrate manufacturing systems, production data, and operational technologies with enterprise platforms and analytics tools.
- Help enable digital manufacturing initiatives and improved operational data insights.
- Cybersecurity, Risk & Business Continuity
- Ensure enterprise systems and data environments operate in accordance with the organization’s established information security policies and standards.
- Support cybersecurity risk mitigation efforts through secure system architecture, operational controls, and adherence to security best practices.
- Oversee execution of disaster recovery procedures and ensure technology systems can be restored within defined recovery objectives.
- Maintain operational readiness of backup systems, data recovery processes, and system redundancy capabilities.
- Ensure continuity of critical business systems and data platforms supporting manufacturing, operations, and enterprise applications.
- Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build and lead a high-performing IT organization with strong technical and business capabilities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop team capabilities in enterprise systems, infrastructure, data engineering, and emerging technologies.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work
This is a full-time position, and works hours are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Longer hours, evenings and weekend work will be necessary as needed.
Travel
This position requires approximately 10% of travel within and outside the United States, primarily to L2 locations in Hanover, PA, Plymouth Meeting, PA, and El Salvador.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- 10+ years of experience in information technology roles, including significant leadership responsibility.
- Experience leading enterprise technology environments including ERP systems, infrastructure, and enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or supply chain technology environments preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to implement technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
- Experience evaluating and implementing emerging technologies including automation, analytics, and AI.
- Experience managing technology vendors, service providers, and strategic technology partnerships.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
