The Artillery Vehicle Sr. Mechanical Engineer will have responsibility to evaluate prototype designs and create production drawings (level 3 Technical Data Package) compliant with industry and U.S. Government specifications, support design reviews and meetings.
• Create & maintain product parts, assemblies & drawings using PTC Creo modeling software. • Perform complex engineering design, development, analysis, and product assurance tasks of limited complexity for assigned portions of a project. • Solves moderately complex engineering problems which have not been clearly defined and may not have similar precedents available. • Ability to review and drawings, and associated Bill of Materials (BOMs) and identify necessary corrections. • Knowledge of ASME Y14.100 and Y14.5 • Knowledge of relevant military and commercial design standards. • Excellent customer relationship and communication skills.
• Minimum 4 years work experience in relevant work environment.
• B.S. degree in a relevant technical discipline (typically mechanical or aerospace engineering) plus 4 years relevant experience
