Description
Racing for Recovery in Holland, Ohio is seeking a part-time Technology Coordinator (IT Specialist) to help maintain our office's technology systems. This role provides hands-on technical support, resolves hardware and software issues and ensures day-to-day operations run smoothly. Ideal for someone who is resourceful, organized and comfortable working independently.
This is a part-time, in person position. All equipment is located on site.
Pay: $20-$22/hr depending on experience.
Duties
- Provide first-level help desk support for employees (in person, by phone, or email)
- Troubleshoot issues with computers, printers, mobile devices, and office equipment
- Install, configure, and update software, operating systems, and workstation setups
- Maintain office network reliability, including Wi-Fi connectivity and basic troubleshooting
- Assist with user account creation, password resets, and permission management
- Ensure antivirus, system updates, and security practices are followed
- Maintain equipment inventory and basic documentation of hardware/software
- Assist with small IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, or new tool setup
- Set up new workstations, including OS installation and basic configuration
- Perform routine maintenance on computers and networking equipment
- Ensure reliable internet and WI-FI connectivity
- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues (routers, switches, VPN)
- Document procedures, troubleshooting steps and common fixes
- Take on other duties as assigned

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with Windows and/or macOS environments
- Knowledge of basic networking (routers, switches, VPN)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common office applications
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Prior IT support or help desk experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Computer / IT-related or equivalent degree is preferred. Relevant work experience will be considered.
