Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain printers, network cameras, and other peripheral devices.
- Installs and supports software for users.
- Create and manage user accounts and permissions in the ERP system.
- Provide training to users on various hardware and software applications.
- Maintains software updates including operating systems, virus software, and other Microsoft products.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs telecommunications components to ensure the network is functioning at peak efficiency.
- Documents, tracks, and monitors problems to facilitate a timely resolution.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure their proper functioning.
Competencies
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar role, with a focus on desktop support and network troubleshooting.
- Prior experience with ERP systems and data entry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows XP, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
- Familiarity with Lorex cameras and Unifi network equipment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Experience with network cabling and the ability to terminate cables is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Education And/Or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- or one to three months related experience and/or training;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
