We are seeking a part-time IT Support Specialist to support the day-to-day technology needs of our air filter manufacturing operations. This role ensures our production floor, office staff, and warehouse teams can work efficiently and securely. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for employees (hardware, software, network issues).
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and update PCs, printers, scanners, and label printers used in production and shipping.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and device setups in Jump cloud, Google, AWS, and WMS
- Monitor and maintain basic network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, switches, cabling).
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patching on systems and equipment.
- Document common procedures, troubleshooting steps, and equipment inventory.
- Support IT-related projects
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Apple devices, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with manufacturing IT environments (ERP systems, production devices, barcoding/labeling) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support both office and production environments.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time: 15–25 hours per week (flexible scheduling).
- Occasional on-call support for production-critical issues.
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
